Automotive Service Technician

Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive tasks such as oil changes, tire services, and vehicle inspections. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and ensuring safety standards. The technician operates company vehicles safely, conducts state safety and emission inspections, and reports vehicle conditions and safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain or hold a State Inspector License
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and assemblies
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday
  
  

Skills & Duties

• Perform tire mounting, balancing, and rotation
• Conduct oil changes and basic services as directed
• Observe and document vehicle conditions, pointing out repairs or safety issues
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas
• Safely transport customers and parts using company vehicle
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards
