Ultrasound Technologist Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience
• RDMS certification is required (RVT certification preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in working with a diverse patient population
• Ability to work independently and stay organized with minimal supervision
• Must provide required credential documentation as per company, client, and state guidelines
• Current vaccinations and ability to pass health screenings (including drug and background checks)
• BLS/CPR certification
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medical diagnostic imaging procedures (OB, general, and vascular) proficiently
• Effectively communicate clinical findings and ultrasound results to the radiologist
• Ensure proper High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures and documentation are followed
• Use PACS and EMR systems to manage and document patient data accurately
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs, including assisting with patient lifting, positioning aids, and portable ultrasound equipment
• Requires physical flexibility to adjust equipment and assist with patient positioning
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing scans
• Endurance to complete multiple consecutive scans as needed
