General ManagerRosewood Social – San Juan Capistrano, CAReports To: Ownership / Executive LeadershipPosition SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, and financial performance of Rosewood Social. This position ensures that all aspects of the guest experience, team development, and business operations align with the standards and vision of the brand. The General Manager serves as the senior on-site leader and is accountable for cultivating a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and consistent execution. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, hire, train, coach, and retain management and hourly team members.Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and development.Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and service excellence.Guest ExperienceEnsure consistent delivery of superior service standards.Maintain a visible presence in the dining room to support the team and engage with guests.Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.Operational ManagementOversee all front-of-house operations, including service flow, scheduling, cleanliness, and presentation.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, labor, and company policies.Develop and maintain operating procedures, training programs, and service standards.Financial PerformanceManage and analyze P&L performance, including labor, cost of goods, and controllable expenses.Implement systems to maximize revenue, control costs, and drive profitability.Brand & Community RelationsServe as a representative of Rosewood Social within the local community.Support marketing initiatives, events, and private dining programs.Build relationships with local partners and industry stakeholders. QualificationsProgressive leadership experience in a full-service, high-volume environment.Demonstrated success in team leadership, cost control, and guest satisfaction.Strong knowledge of restaurant financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Experience in premium dining, cocktail-focused, or destination restaurant concepts preferred.Current Food Handler Manager Certification required.TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification required.Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
