As part of our Food & Beverage team, you will join a passionate group of professionals dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences through exceptional service and attention to detail. Reporting to the Coffee Shop Manager, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while upholding the highest standards of quality in our coffee program and café operations.

As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee experience, creating handcrafted beverages and meaningful guest interactions that reflect the standards of luxury hospitality. Your expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to service excellence will contribute to the success of our Food & Beverage operations while helping create memorable moments for every guest.

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, specialty coffee beverages, teas, and other café offerings to the highest quality standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by engaging with guests, anticipating needs, and making personalized recommendations.
• Maintain coffee quality through regular tasting, calibration, and adherence to established preparation standards.
• Ensure workstations, equipment, and service areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Support food and beverage service while maintaining efficiency and accuracy during busy periods.
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and operational projects to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Passionate about coffee, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Minimum one year of related experience, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale café environment.
• Knowledge of specialty coffee preparation, brewing methods, and espresso techniques.
• Strong communication and guest service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
• California Food Handler Card preferred.

The pay rate for this position is $23.70 - $27.13 per hour.

This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual rates will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of luxury hotel experience and/or fine dining restaurant experience, as well as qualifications, skills, and business needs.
