Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated RN - Overnight Supervisor to join our team and deliver exceptional patient care during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and a passion for supporting patients' needs in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves managing patient assessments, administering medications, and ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed to promote optimal health outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments during overnight shifts to monitor vital signs, evaluate symptoms, and identify urgent needs.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Ensure infection control standards are maintained through proper sterilization, specimen collection, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in long term care
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice & palliative care.
- Knowledge of advanced nursing procedures including tube feeding management, laboratory specimen processing, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures such as basic life support (BLS) and neonatal resuscitation is essential.
