What You’ll Do (Essential Responsibilities)
As a Laundry Attendant, you will help keep our hotel running smoothly by making sure all linens are cleaned, cared for, and stored properly.
Daily Laundry Operations

Receive and sort dirty linens by type.

Pre-soak items with stains to help restore them to top condition.

Set aside any damaged or unusable linens in the proper discard area.

Load washers with the correct amounts and settings, following load limits and chemical guidelines.

Dry, fold, and store linens neatly in the appropriate storage locations.

Clean dryer lint filters daily to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Clean behind and above dryers weekly to maintain a tidy, safe workspace.
Cleanliness & Safety

Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of clutter—mopping floors as needed.

Follow all OSHA/HAZCOM procedures and handle chemicals safely.

Make sure linens are never placed directly on the floor.
Teamwork & Equipment Care

Report any laundry equipment issues to the Director of Housekeeping right away.

Complete all daily checklists to ensure consistent quality.

Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support the housekeeping team.

Qualifications:
Qualifications – Laundry Attendant

Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine desire to help create a clean and comfortable stay for our guests.

Reliable and dependable, with consistent attendance and reliable transportation.

Strong attention to detail, especially when sorting, washing, and folding linens.

Willingness to learn proper laundry procedures, chemical usage, and WHM standards.

Able to stay organized and manage multiple loads throughout the shift.

Comfortable working independently, while still being part of a supportive team.

Physically able to lift up to 25–50 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, and bend or reach as needed.

Able to work in warm or humid environments common in laundry areas.

Basic communication skills, including the ability to speak and understand English.

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is helpful, but not required—we happily train the right person.
