Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting quality resident care? Roseville Care Center is looking for a Medical Records Assistant to join our team! This is a part-time opportunity with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our administrative team, you’ll help ensure resident medical records are accurate, secure, and up to date. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and organizing resident medical records (electronic & paper)
- Filing reports, charts, lab results, and documentation
- Assisting with record retrieval for authorized personnel
- Supporting compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations
- Helping coordinate medical record processes and audits
- Assisting with scheduling assessments and maintaining registries
- Communicating with staff across departments to ensure accuracy
✅ What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in medical records or healthcare preferred (but not required!)
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication and teamwork abilities
