Description: Roseville Area Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to support elementary-age scholars in a Setting I/II program at Emmet D. Williams Elementary School. This role involves providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to scholars across school settings, including the general education classroom, special education classroom, specialist and during lunch & recess. This position is 6 hours per day and begins on September 1, 2026.
Qualifications: Special Education paraprofessionals must possess 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits of study from an institution of higher education or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, OR must provide a passing score on the MN ParaPro Test or ParaEducator Assessment. (To take a Parapro Test, visit The ParaPro Assessment or call 1-800-772-9476; to take the ParaEducator Assessment, visit the Bright Works website - test is paid for at the employee's expense.)
Compensation: Starting salary range is $17.95 - $20.25 per hour, plus a district contribution toward insurance. Special Education paraprofessionals have the opportunity to earn an additional $2.00 per hour for completing online district Special Education training.
