Job Description: Dance Studio Office Coordinator
What we are looking for:
Roseville Academy of Dance is looking for an exceptionally committed office coordinator, who is passionate about their work, offers excellent customer service, has good time management skills, and a positive attitude. Someone who is reliable, organized and is self-motivated with outstanding communication.

Roles and Responsibility:
- Director of first impressions and customer service
- Maintaining the face of the company at the front desk reception area (center for communication)
- Opening and closing procedures at the studio
- Answering phones
- Checking voicemails and returning calls in a timely manner
- Email management
- Client registration, account management and sales
- Client on-boarding, tracking, and management
- Converting new leads into registered students with follow up and check-ins
- Entering clients into competition and convention databases
- Providing teaching staff and clients with necessary tools for success
- Studio management and cleanliness
- Keeping families happy and well informed of studio news
- Taking time to prevent mistakes and double checking work for accuracy
- Utilizing and completing tasks in our project management software, paying close attention to due dates and details
- Costume organization
- Recital and Event planning
- Assist with Seasonal Projects/Events (Recital, Community Events, Ticket Sales, Promotions, Cleaning)
- Delivering the "RAD" experience
Ideal Candidate:
- Self motivated. You have the ability to problem-solve independently, how to prioritize the most important tasks and how to think on your feet.
- Tech savvy. You will need to work across several platforms to maintain organizational systems. Dance Studio Pro, Asana, Canva and Google Drive.
- Excellent communication skills. You have the ability to write and speak clearly and concisely. Can handle the most challenging situations with professionalism and warmth. You are kind, enthusiastic, and inclusive.
- Detail and Deadline oriented. You love doing tasks on time. Responding to customers with a sense of urgency and getting the information into the systems correctly.
- Customer Service excellence. You go above and beyond on tasks and hold yourself to a high standard of excellence. You are able to identify gaps and act quickly to ensure that we deliver consistency.
- Fast on-the-job learner. It's often all hands on deck and it is important to learn new skills on the go. Your willingness to learn, accept feedback, your sense of responsibility, and your genuine warmth and caring for our clients are of the most value to us.
Needed Skills:
- Proven experience in customer service and office communication
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Google Drive, Docs & Sheets
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn our Project Software Management tool - Asana
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn our Studio Software Management tool - Dance Studio Pro
- Familiarity with Gmail and Email management
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- The ability to work in a quickly changing environment
- High School degree; experience in the dance community will be a plus

Rate: $19 - $22 per hour based on experience
Current Hours:
- Monday-Thursday 3:30-8:30pm
- Saturday 8:30am-1:30pm
- Occasional Fridays with plenty of notice, and occasional weekends for special events (with notice)
- Extra hours may be needed for training
We're looking for a long-term team member to grow with us and create growth within the company. The role is currently part-time but can move to more hours with the right person.
