Since 2009, we've partnered with farmers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey to provide independent agronomic and environmental consulting services. Our recommendations are grounded in science, delivered through strong communication, and tailored to each farming operation.
As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an Agricultural Consultant who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and helping farmers make informed decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in agronomy, crop consulting, conservation, or production agriculture who is looking to build long-term relationships with clients while continuing to grow professionally.
What You'll Do
- Build trusted relationships with farmers throughout your assigned territory
- Scout corn, soybean, and forage crops throughout the growing season
- Collect soil, manure, and tissue samples
- Develop agronomic recommendations based on field observations and laboratory results
- Assist clients with nutrient management and soil health planning
- Support precision agriculture and conservation initiatives
- Communicate recommendations clearly through written reports and in-person discussions
- Work closely with a collaborative team of agronomists and consultants
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop & Soil Science, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- Experience in agronomy, crop consulting, conservation, precision agriculture, or production agriculture
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to spend significant time working outdoors
- Valid driver's license
- Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credential is a plus but not required
