Duties
- Oversee daily operations of golf course maintenance, including turf management, landscaping, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal course conditions.
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance staff, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback.
- Implement and monitor course projects, including drainage, irrigation, fertilizing, spraying, and tree care to enhance course aesthetics and safety.
- Manage course care routines such as mowing, aeration, topdressing, and pest control to maintain healthy turfgrass.
- Conduct construction activities related to course improvements or new installations while adhering to safety standards.
- Oversee irrigation systems’ installation, repair, and operation to promote efficient water use and healthy turf growth.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with environmental regulations and best practices in horticulture and land management.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or golf course management with a strong background in horticulture or landscaping.
- Extensive knowledge of turfgrass management, lawn care techniques, and irrigation systems.
- Hands-on experience with construction projects related to landscaping or golf course development.
- Familiarity with tree care practices to support diverse landscape features.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for golf courses including pest management and soil health strategies.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
