Responsibilities
- Efficiently stock shelves with retail products, produce, and grocery items, ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising standards
- Use RF scanners and inventory management systems to track stock levels and update records in real time
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely to load, unload, and move inventory
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments accurately while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Maintain inventory control through regular stock counts, organization of storage areas, and proper packaging of products for sale or shipment
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays, replenishing stock, and ensuring product knowledge is up-to-date for customer assistance
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and store cleanliness
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience with familiarity in stocking, inventory control, or materials handling preferred
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or RF scanners is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
- Basic math skills for inventory management, retail math calculations, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Demonstrated commitment to safe lifting practices, manual handling techniques, and maintaining a safe work environment
