FULL - TIME POLICE OFFICER

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas regularly to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents
• Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and documenting findings accurately
• Enforce all laws as required
• Maintain surveillance using various techniques to monitor suspicious activities or persons of interest
• Write detailed reports on incidents, arrests, and investigations to ensure clear documentation for legal proceedings
• Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills
• Drive patrol vehicles responsibly while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to promote safety initiatives Requirements
• Proven experience or training in law enforcement practices
• Certification in CPR and first aid; additional certifications such as surveillance or security are advantageous
• Strong report writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally during conflicts or emergencies
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in driving law enforcement or security vehicles preferred
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical fitness suitable for patrol duties involving standing, walking, or running for extended periods
