This is a full-time on-site Litigation Paralegal role located in Memphis, TN. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for legal document preparation, document review, preparing pleadings, gathering medical records and bills, obtaining incident reports and investigative files, meeting with clients, propounding and answering discovery, and drafting filings.
Skills/Responsibilities
- Strong skills in Legal Document Preparation, Document Review, and Communication
- Experience in preparing pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints and discovery
- Experience with electronic filing systems in state and federal court
- Fact investigation skills
- Understanding of service of process
- Strong organization skills including aiding attorney in preparation for depositions and court
- Maintain pleadings and file
- Organize calendar
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple legal projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks for long periods of time
- Work well with other legal staff and manage logistics of a case
- Other tasks as required by legal team
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Experience in personal injury related practice areas (preferred)
- Knowledge of state and federal courts and applicable rules and procedures
- High skill in computer software including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other systems

Salary Negotiable based on experience.
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
