ROSEN is looking for a Contract Analyst that will be based in Houston, TX. This position reports directly to the Head of Compliance & Legal and will be a part of the Compliance & Legal team.

The Contract Analyst is a member of the Compliance & Legal Department and is responsible for reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, risk analysis and mitigation, compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations, managing external counsel, providing training covering policy and legal issues.

ROSEN is looking for a Contract Analyst that will be based in Houston, TX. This position reports directly to the Head of Compliance & Legal and will be a part of the Compliance & Legal team.
What role you will play in our team
The Contract Analyst is a member of the Compliance & Legal Department and is responsible for reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, risk analysis and mitigation, compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations, managing external counsel, providing training covering policy and legal issues.

- Contract analysis and drafting
- Contract negotiations
- Risk analysis and mitigation
- Compliance guidance
- Risk Management
- Policy review, revisions, and drafting
- Training on policy and legal issues
- Maintaining contract files in accordance with ROSEN’s Legal Contract Management system
- Review, edit, negotiate provisions and adhere to ROSEN standard provisions and standard operating procedures.
- Adapt ROSEN standard provisions to resolve conflicts in contract negotiations; resolve contract issues, mitigate or avoid high risk liability.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree, understanding of applicable law and regulations
- 2 years of experience in reviewing and negotiating complex agreements
- 2 years of experience in managing compliance issues
- Exceptional, demonstrable aptitude for written and oral communication.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to resolve conflict in a win-win manner.
- Ability to work with strong personalities and difficult people.
- Capable of taking lead role with senior management on issues pertaining to relevant contracts.
- Strong analytical skills associated with developing and utilizing contracting measures and initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including logical thought processes, with the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Self-motivated with the ability to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple tasks, meet multiple deadlines, and work with minimal direction
- Knowledge of relevant international laws and regulations
- Management of contract lifecycle management systems.
