Host/Hostess (Harry's)

Summary:
The Host/Hostess will provide exceptional guest service by warmly greeting, welcoming, and seating arriving guests in our dining outlet. They will assist in seating arrangements and create an enjoyable dining experience based on the Company Standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Manage and organize reservations, ensuring accurate table assignments and seating arrangements.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to manage table turnover efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with guests, informing them of wait times and special promotions.
• Present menus, engage in polite conversation, answer questions, and offer information on all menu items.
• Prepare and fully set tables for service.
• Maintain a tidy and inviting entrance area as well as a clean and organized dining area.
• Responsible for performing opening and closing duties to ensure proper restaurant setting.
• Answer the phone in accordance with hotels standards.
• Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a fast-paced food-service environment required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
