Cook Preparation

Summary:

The Cook Preparation team member provides outstanding service by assisting in the preparation of cold food items, including salads, cold appetizers, desserts, sandwiches, salad dressings, cold banquet platters, and ready-to-serve packages for hotel restaurants. This role ensures adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures and supports kitchen staff in food preparation for hotel and restaurant guests, all while maintaining a professional demeanor in alignment with Company Standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and weighing ingredients.
• Prepare cold food items such as salads, appetizers, desserts, and sandwiches based on recipes.
• Ensure the prep area is kept clean and organized.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Comply with the company’s drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
