Internal Claims Manager for outstanding Hospitality Company with 8 hotels in the Orlando area containing convention centers, food & beverage outlets, Spas, Golf Course, over three million annual guests, four thousand associates and an excellent benefits package. Position investigates various types of loss events and insurance claims. Reports claims to the insurance carrier. Monitors and manages ongoing claims until settled or closure. Acts as a liaison between insurance carriers, attorneys and/or claimants and the company to solve problems and expedite claim resolution. Detects trends and produces report, among other actions, to help prevent losses. Provides exceptional customer service in the management of GL, Property, and Business Auto casualty claims.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 3 to 5 years casualty claim handling experience. Should have a high degree of specialized and technical competence in the handling of casualty claims with particular emphasis on General Liability and Auto policies and litigation management skills. Florida 2-20 or 6-20 License or equivalent is preferred but not required. Ability to think and work independently and assimilate learning materials on many different subjects from various sources; Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; Demonstrated success in multitasking and managing multiple, competing priorities while successfully meeting timelines and deadlines; ability to communicate at all staff levels with clarity and precision; Superior oral and written communication skills; Organization and time management skills; Demonstrated ownership attitude and customer centric response to all assigned tasks. Proficient use of technology; including, Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software. This position does not manage staff.
