Company Description
Rosemary AI is an early-stage healthtech startup opening a frontier most people have written off: real, between-session mental health support for older adults.
We're building Rosie — a clinician-directed, voice-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) exercise adjunct for adults 65 living with depression. Older adults are among the most underserved populations in behavioral health, and the space between sessions is where CBT progress is actually won or lost. Almost no one is building specifically for them. We are.
We won't pretend to be further along than we are — we're early, and there's more ahead of us than behind us. Our founding team comes from statistics, behavioral health product, and healthcare payer systems, and we're building this the right way from day one: clinician-directed, evidence-based, and legally sound.

Role Description
This isn't a staff therapy or caseload job. You'd be the founding clinician at the core of the company — owning the independent clinical practice entity (PC/PLLC) alongside our management platform (MSO), and shaping Rosie from the ground floor.
What you'd own:
- Clinical Direction: CBT protocol design for older adults with depression, clinical validity, and safety guardrails for Rosie.
- Practice Ownership: Heading the independent clinical practice entity (PC/PLLC) that provides the clinical oversight behind our care model.
- Product Voice: A direct, defining seat at the table shaping how clinician-directed AI is built into between-session care alongside the founding team.
What this is:
- Ground-Floor Founding Role: Defined and compensated with ownership of the clinical practice entity, structured alongside specialized healthcare legal counsel.
- Location: Remote within Tennessee (must hold active TN licensure).
- Focus: Clinical leadership and practice structure, not a high-volume clinical caseload.
Who we're hoping to find:
- Tennessee-Licensed Master's Clinician: LCSW, LPC/MHSP, or LMFT with independent practice authority (licensed psychologists, Ph.D./Psy.D., are also warmly welcome).
- Deep CBT expertise and comfort with structured, protocol-driven care for older adults.
- Genuinely curious about how thoughtfully designed AI can empower clinicians and clients between sessions.
- Ready to build something from scratch and do it right — clinically and legally.
A plus, not required:
Doctoral-level licensure (Ph.D./Psy.D.) and/or active PSYPACT participation (current or eligible) — helpful as we expand into multi-state care delivery.
