What You’ll Do

The Investment Operations & Strategy Associate will operate across three primary spheres—Investment Operations, Investment Strategy, and Client Communication & Education. This position plays a vital role in ensuring RWA’s investment process is executed with precision, consistency, insight, and clarity.

1. Investment Operations

  • Execute trades to carry out the firm’s investment strategies and client requests (rebalancing, model maintenance, inflows/outflows, and tax-aware strategies).
  • Manage client account transactions using trading platforms such as Fidelity/NFS and Advisor Enterprise.
  • Maintain accurate and dynamic portfolio management workflows and documentation to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Continuously evaluate trading tools and processes to increase efficiency and scalability.

2. Investment Strategy

  • Evaluate third-party managers and investment strategies to ensure alignment with RWA’s investment philosophy and principles and client best interests.
  • Research markets and investment opportunities and consider merit for inclusion or exclusion from RWA strategic portfolios.
  • Construct, monitor, and manage investment models using individual securities, mutual funds, and ETFs.
  • Review 401(K) fund line-up for RWA advised 401(K) plans as part of the due diligence process.
  • Analyze market trends, economic data, and strategy performance to inform ongoing investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with advisors and planners to align portfolio strategies with each client’s broader financial goals.

3. Communication & Education

  • Translate investment philosophy and market movements into clear, client-friendly language.
  • Equip advisors with weekly themes, talking points, and updates for client conversations.
  • Lead or support investment-related communications through webinars, videos, and other public-facing media (with marketing support).
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings where investment depth and expertise are needed.

A Day in the Life

  • Execute and manage client trades in accordance with Advisor guidance and client requests.
  • Monitor client portfolios in accordance with target allocations, tax parameters, and investment workflow adherence procedures.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews and perform rebalancing to stay aligned with client goals and RWA investment models.
  • Evaluate new strategies or third-party managers for potential adoption.
  • Support advisors in client meetings to explain investment composition and performance and rationale behind changes.
  • Monitor economic news and provide timely internal updates.
  • Lead and/or contribute to RWA’s monthly investment meetings and quarterly educational content.

Minimum Qualifications (Must have’s for consideration)

  • 2–8 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Active SIE, Series 6/7, and Series 63/65 or 66 licenses.
  • Experience executing trades and managing client accounts on behalf of a firm or advisor.
  • Proficiency with trading tools such as Envestnet, Orion, Advisor, Black Diamond, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skill, and communication ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to support client relationships through effective service and communication.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-have’s that help you stand out)

  • Desire to work in a faith-based, team-oriented environment that integrates Biblical stewardship with professional excellence.
  • Located in or near Tyler, Texas (on-site role preferred).
  • Advanced certifications such as CFA, CFP, CKA, or similar.

Why This Role Stands Out

This is more than an investment role - it’s an opportunity to join a team that serves clients with eternal purpose. At Roseman Wealth Advisors, you’ll be part of a collaborative, faith-driven culture that values wisdom, stewardship, and long-term relationships.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across all facets of investment management and have a voice in shaping RWA’s evolving investment philosophy and communication strategy.

Highlights include:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Meaningful work serving clients and families with Biblical principles integrated with financial strategy.
  • A stable yet growing firm that values innovation, teamwork, and calling.
  • Professional development alongside a credentialed, highly respected advisory team.
