Job Description

Essential Functions
- Verify accuracy of patient demographics, patient access form completion, and completion of consents.
- Review the approved treatment plan and assist patient with financial arrangements for multi-visit treatments.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Manage the faculty, staff, and student schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time and chair availability.
- Work with clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow.
- Complete patient insurance pre-authorization.
- Coordinate treatment data collection including consent forms, policy forms, and post-care forms.
- Check patients in and out for appointments.
- Receive and respond to incoming communications from patients and outside entities.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 1-3 years general customer service experience or 1-3 years of experience in a dental or medical office, or a mix of education, experience, and training that equips you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities listed in the job description.
- Bilingual required (Spanish speaking)
- Administrative experience in a dental practice with knowledge of dental insurance and dental procedures is preferred; training or education in these areas will be considered.
