Account Executive — Commercial Lines
Rosella is an AI-native commercial insurance brokerage. We're not trying to replace brokers with technology — we're building the platform for the best ones. Private equity rollups are slashing commission splits, burying top producers in bureaucracy, and handing great accounts to the CEO's nephew. We're going the other direction: tight teams, modern tools, and real ownership. No committees. No approval chains. You own the outcome.
The Role
You'll own a book of commercial P&C clients end-to-end — renewals, marketing, coverage, servicing, retention. Producers bring the clients. You keep them. And you help us build the tools that make the whole thing 10x faster.
This is not a seat at a legacy brokerage. Rosella is an AI-native commercial brokerage. Every renewal, every submission, every COI is an opportunity to feed the product. You'll have direct input into how it gets built — what gets automated, what stays human, what the next feature should be. The engineers ship based on what you tell them hurts.
What You'll Do
- Run renewals end-to-end: strategy, applications, loss runs, SOVs, marketing, proposals, binding.
- Service the book — endorsements, COIs, audits, mid-term changes, claims advocacy — with accuracy and speed.
- Round out accounts. Spot the missing umbrella, cyber, EPLI, or management liability and partner with the producer to close it.
- Shape the product. Sit with engineering and founders. Tell us what's broken, what the AI should do next, and what we should kill. We build it, you use it, we iterate.
- Rewrite the playbook. Templates, checklists, workflows — if you see a better way to run this, you own the redesign and roll it out to the team.
- Keep the AMS clean. No surprise at audit. No missing documents at renewal.
You Might Be a Fit If…
- You have 3–6 years of commercial P&C experience and can run a book without hand-holding.
- You think renewals should be a system, not a scramble. You catch the missing endorsement before the client does.
- You're comfortable with AI tools and want more of them, not fewer. "Insurance has to be done the old way" makes you physically uncomfortable.
- You want input, not just a seat. You'd rather help redesign a process than be handed one.
Requirements
- 3–6 years in commercial P&C with direct renewal and marketing responsibility.
- Active P&C producer license.
- Working knowledge of CGL, property, auto, umbrella, work comp, inland marine, and common specialty lines.
- Experience marketing to admitted and E&S carriers.
- On-site at Rosella HQ.
Nice to Have
- CIC, CISR, CRM, ARM, or progress toward CPCU.
- Experience in construction, habitational, transportation, manufacturing, or professional services.
- A track record of building checklists, templates, or automations that made a team faster.
Compensation
Base salary, commensurate with experience. Salary only — no commission. Discretionary bonus tied to retention and service quality. Health, dental, vision. PTO.
