Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and handling food safely
- Manage cash handling accurately during transactions and ensure proper register procedures
- Assist with food handling, food safety protocols, and proper storage to comply with health regulations
- Support quick service operations by efficiently taking orders, serving food, and managing time effectively
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques to boost revenue opportunities
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Previous restaurant experience or work in the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a high energy level
