We are a fast-growing leading Property Management company serving the multifamily residential communities in Alamogordo, New Mexico and surrounding areas.
We are looking for an energetic, responsible, dependable and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance personnel, handling resident retention and renewals, leasing, and much more. You must be dedicated, hard-working, and a self-starter and a motivated individual.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to;
- Assist with timely collection of rents while exercising legal collection efforts.
- Provide and generate direct communication with and assistance to tenants.
- Eliminate lost revenue due to vacancies by effecting fast turnover in accordance with Make-Ready policy.
- Ensure market-ready condition of vacant units and lots in accordance with Make-Ready policies.
- Promotes curb appeal.
- Assist Manager with resident relations; ensures resident issues are responded to quickly and appropriately.
- Respond to requests from local governments and communities to ensure legal compliance.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of previous property management preferred, but not required. Will train.
- Experience in AppFolio or Yardi software is a PLUS! Will train.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook.
- Detailed-oriented with a notable focus on ensuring and maintaining accuracy in record keeping.
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively with current and potential tenants.
- Must be reliable and dependable. References will be checked.
- Valid Driver's License
- Bilingual (fluent in Spanish)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
