Position Summary
We are seeking a sharp, data-driven Portfolio Marketing Analyst to own the analytics and targeting engine behind our retention marketing program. You will transform clean portfolio data into high-volume, high conversion leads by building risk models, defining triggers, segmenting borrowers, and optimizing multi-channel campaigns.
This is a high-impact role with direct influence on key metrics: refinance recapture rates, purchase retention, runoff reduction, and overall portfolio lifetime value. You will partner closely with our sales team (for conversion), creative team (for messaging execution), and data engineering team (for infrastructure).
Key Responsibilities
• Query and analyze portfolio data in Snowflake to identify high-potential segments (e.g., in-the-money refi candidates, equity-rich borrowers, purchase signals).
• Maintain and refine risk models and lead scoring logic using key portfolio signals.
• Define and automate trigger-based marketing rules for proactive outreach across the portfolio.
• Design and execute A/B tests on targeting, timing, and offer strategies to continuously improve campaign performance.
• Own lead prioritization and routing in CRM, ensuring loan officers receive ranked, actionable opportunities daily.
• Measure and report on core KPIs: lead volume/quality, conversion rates, recapture percentages, campaign ROI, and prepayment runoff.
Qualifications
• 5 years in mortgage servicing/origination analytics, retention marketing, or direct-to-consumer campaigns.
• SQL proficiency; experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success building propensity models, lead scoring, or trigger logic that drove measurable recapture or retention improvements.
• Hands-on experience with mortgage CRMs (Shape, Velocify, Salesforce, or similar) for automation and routing.
• Strong analytical mindset with expertise in A/B testing, segmentation, and ROI analysis.
• Familiarity with mortgage data signals (LTV, note rates, AVMs, credit attributes, escrow activity) and compliance considerations (TCPA, Reg B, Fair Lending).
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
Preferred
• Python/R for advanced modeling.
• Knowledge of external data enrichments.
