What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Set up and maintain clean, organized dining areas.
- Deliver meals to residents with a friendly, compassionate attitude.
- Assist residents during meal service as needed.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
- Properly store food and monitor inventory levels.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
- Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare dietary experience is preferred—but we're willing to train the right candidate!
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and compassionate.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Food Handler Certification is a plus.
