Looking for a part-time position that allows you to make a difference without committing every weekend?
Rosedale Green is looking for a friendly, dependable Weekend Receptionist to work every other Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
That means you’ll work just one weekend every two weeks — a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule while keeping every other weekend free.
More Than Just Answering the Phone
Our receptionist is often the first person residents, families, visitors, and prospective employees meet when they come through our doors. Just as importantly, you become a familiar and friendly face for the people who live here.
We’re looking for someone who is welcoming, organized, professional, and comfortable handling several things at once. You don’t need years of healthcare experience — but you do need to genuinely enjoy helping people and interacting with older adults.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome residents, families, visitors, staff, and guests
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers appropriately
- Assist visitors with questions and help them find where they need to go
- Provide general clerical and administrative support
- Sort and distribute mail
- Assist with filing, scanning, faxing, and other office tasks
- Help maintain a welcoming and professional front entrance
- Respond calmly and appropriately when unexpected situations arise
- Perform other general office duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable interacting with residents and senior adults
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment
- Previous receptionist, customer-service, clerical, or office experience is helpful, but we’re also willing to consider the right person with the right attitude
Schedule
Every other Saturday and Sunday
9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Approximately 14 hours every other weekend.
