Position Purpose: Provide client assessment and case management services, and support the admission process as needed. Participate as a team member in the delivery of addictions treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Provide program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field, or commensurate experience and training preferred
- Associate's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field required AND a tCADC/CADC
- Minimum tCADC/CADC, LBSW, LMSW, tLMHC/LMHC within 90 days of hire or other state or national licensure that supersedes the tCADC or obtain tCADC within 90 days of hire
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer proficiency required
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems strongly preferred
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation within prescribed time frames
- Demonstrated clinical competency in assessments and admissions
- Skilled in conducting individual, family, and group counseling
- Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff, or community resources
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Ability to work within a team.

- Handle all First Contact calls and assess telephonically to determine appropriateness for treatment, level of care, and special needs.
- Schedule and conduct assessment interviews with potential clients and their significant others.
- Formulate initial diagnostic impression and appropriate recommendations for level of care placement.
- Provide case management and counseling services to assigned clients.
- Utilize intervention skills as required to place the client in the appropriate level of treatment services.
- Maintain knowledge of community, school and recovery resources in order to make appropriate interagency referrals as required.
- Provide networking, linkage and follow-up with referral sources.
- Maintain communications with all staff (e.g. assessments, admissions).
- Meet with all individuals being admitted to inpatient treatment and provide warm hand-off to admissions clinician whenever possible.
- Have Client Accounts Representative meet with the client if needed to discuss co-pay and get down payment when appropriate
- Confirm that client has medications and appropriate medical records needed for admission.
- Conduct pre-certification call for insurance if needed.
- Notify appropriate staff of client status during admissions process.
- Ensure that client health records are maintained consistent rules and regulations.
- Assume on-call responsibilities as scheduled or when necessary.
- Serve as a member of the treatment team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
Schedule
- 8 hour shifts
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM
Work Mode: On-Site
Compensation & Rewards
- Starting Pay: Based on education, experience and credentials
- Starting rate for Bachelors - $24.44/hour
- Starting rate for Masters - $27.77/hour
- Incentives:
- Certification- tCADC/CADC/IADC- $1,500 annually
- Clinical License- LMSW, LISW, tLMHC, LMHC, LMFT- $1,800-$5,00 annually
