Marketing Director

About the Role
We are a growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm seeking an experienced, driven, and creative Marketing Director to lead and execute our firm's marketing strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, creating, and implementing marketing initiatives from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the firm's overall marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive business growth.
- Manage and maintain the firm's website, ensuring content is current, engaging, and optimized for lead generation.
- Manage and grow the firm's social media presence across appropriate platforms.
- Strengthen and expand the firm's brand recognition locally and throughout the surrounding region.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns designed to generate qualified prospective client leads.
- Design and produce marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, presentations, advertisements, and other promotional pieces.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute advertising campaigns from concept through completion, including tracking performance and return on investment.
- Create targeted direct mail campaigns, including identifying mailing lists and audiences.
- Vet and work with qualified vendors for printing materials; local vendors are preferred.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using key performance metrics, providing recommendations for continual improvement.
- Identify, organize, and coordinate networking opportunities, community involvement, sponsorships, and events that enhance the firm's visibility and reputation.
- Work closely with firm leadership to ensure all marketing efforts align with business objectives.
- Ensure all marketing materials, communications and events comply with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements for the financial services industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred or the equivalent in work experience.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of successful marketing experience, preferably with responsibility for developing and executing marketing campaigns that produced measurable results.
- Experience marketing within the financial services industry, wealth management, or an RIA is a bonus.
- Strong writing, communication, and graphic design skills.
- Experience managing websites, social media platforms, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Proficiency with marketing software, CRM systems, design platforms (such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva), and website content management systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
