Description
We are starting a CNA class for individuals interested in obtaining their CNA license and working in our Long Term Care facility.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, hands-on care to residents and swing bed patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This role assists with daily living activities, observes and reports changes in condition, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
This position supports both long-term care residents and swing bed patients receiving skilled rehabilitation or short-term recovery services, ensuring continuity of compassionate, high-quality care throughout the facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age; or
- Currently enrolled in high school (or equivalent) with applicable work restrictions; minimum age of 16
- Ability to obtain Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification upon successful completion of the class, including passing the written and skills exams
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification will be obtained during the course
