Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and custom wood components using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret shope drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Cut materials for assembly - face frame parts and plywood parts
- Sanding doors, frames, cabients to ensure finish team can apply a good finish
- Fabricate custom wood pieces utilizing CNC machinery or traditional woodworking techniques to meet client specifications
Skills
- Extensive experience with woodworking techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders)
- CNC machinery experienece is not required but may be helpful
- Reading a tape measure down to the 1/32
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship on construction sites
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members on complex projects
