Job Summary
The Assembly Line Worker is responsible for performing repetitive assembly tasks on a production line to manufacture products according to company standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble components and parts according to work instructions and production schedules
Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications
Identify and report defective materials or equipment issues to supervisors
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
Meet daily production targets while maintaining accuracy and consistency
Assist with packaging, labeling, and material handling as needed
Work collaboratively with team members to support production goals
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
No prior manufacturing experience required (training provided)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds (depending on role)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or assembly line processes
Experience using basic hand tools or production equipment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving parts
Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion required
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
