What You'll Be Doing

The Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist is responsible for supporting a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS management. This role acts as a vital link between employees and management, ensuring HR operations run smoothly and in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for...

• Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating new hire onboarding.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, leave, and general employment issues.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system and ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
• Support benefits enrollment, open enrollment processes, and liaison with benefits providers.
• Assist with the administration of employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate employee offboarding, including exit interviews and termination documentation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
• Track and report on HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, and employee satisfaction.
• Ensure proper handling of confidential information and sensitive employee data.
• Provide support during audits and ensure HR compliance documentation is up-to-date.
  
  

What Skills & Experience You'll Bring To Us

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of HR experience in a coordinator or generalist role.
• Knowledge of HR laws and best practices (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, BambooHR).
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion.
