Sales Representative
Rose Pallet is seeking a highly motivated sales hunter to expand our customer base and promote our value-based pallet and crating solutions. The Sales Representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at prospecting, generating leads, quote follow up, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with an ability to showcase our solutions in a compelling way and a relentless drive to take market share.
Objectives of this role
- Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
- Meet daily and weekly call metrics
- Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing the daily work schedule to call on existing and potential new customers
- Develop and implement a territory action plan focused on fast growth
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify prospects, make cold phone calls and cold field visits, set appointments and manage the sales cycle to close new business
- Generate customer quotes with accuracy and make effective presentations by tailoring to the customer’s specific needs
- Analyze the territory potential, identify opportunities and duplicate proven successes by the company
- Achieve and exceed sales goals assigned to the territory
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and providing world class customer service
- Work effectively with cross functional teams to coordinate sales efforts and shorten the sales cycle
- Track sales results and submit accurate sales reports to management in a timely manner
- Provide management with competitive information obtained during sales calls to identify ideas for new products and services, report industry updates and track pricing trends
Outside Sales Representative Required skills and qualifications
- Highly motivated and target driven self-starter
- One or more years of selling (Inside Sales/Outside Sales/Business Development) experience with a proven success rate
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales or business administration
- Valid driver license and ability to travel extensively within the sales territory
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Effective cold-calling techniques
- Proficiency with sales management software, Salesforce a plus
- Experience selling to industrial manufacturing markets
Total Compensation: Base Salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 plus Commission. On track earning potential of $90,000 - $150,000 per year with uncapped earning potential.
