Rose-Mary is a not-for-profit providing services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in group homes. We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Director of Nursing that will provide supervisory and clinical oversight to the Residential Nursing team, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to professional nursing standards. The role supports staff development, oversees training and documentation practices, manages infection prevention and quality assurance functions, and collaborates with internal and external partners to promote the health and well-being of individuals served.
Responsibilities
- Support and supervise Residential Nurses, including scheduling, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Review nursing documentation, ensure compliance, and provide clinical guidance to staff and families.
- Oversee medical care for assigned caseloads and provide coverage during nurse absences.
- Participate in the nurse on-call rotation and assist with healthcare issue follow-up.
- Train staff in Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid/AED, orientation, and ongoing health/hygiene topics.
- Monitor medication administration practices, complete observations, and follow med-error procedures.
- Assist with infection prevention efforts following OSHA and CDC guidelines; support disease tracking and staff education.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid, DODD, Health Department, and other regulatory requirements.
- Complete routine quality-assurance reviews to maintain high standards of care.
- Provide care and oversight to the assigned caseload.

- Ability to assess, evaluate, and monitor service delivery and program performance in all relevant areas.
- Must be a Registered Nurse, licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing or another related field is preferred.
- Ohio DODD Certified RN Nurse Instructor trainer for medication administration – must obtain certification if not already certified.
- Minimum of three year’s experience in the field of IDD.
- Previous management experience required.

Pay: $73,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
