Job Description
Required Education
- BA/BS degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Or the equivalent of 4 years of experience in a related area (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
- Advanced (5 years) Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Advanced (5 years) proven problem-solving skills.
- 3 years of experience conducting predictive analytics or statistical risk analysis.
- 3 years of transportation scheduling experience.
- 3 years of proven oral and written communication skills through business application.
- Ability to create and utilize escalation processes.
- Ability to establish individual performance targets and provide documented quarterly reviews.
- Ability to recommend operational efficiency improvements (team collaboration, visual management, best practices, etc.).
- Ability to maintain process standardization across all shifts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the transportation service provider to ensure all KPIs are met.
- Perform and document monthly and quarterly evaluations of the provider's performance.
- Report provider non-conformances in a structured manner.
- Define and utilize an escalation process for repetitive issues, including identified countermeasures.
- Provide recommendations to help the provider improve operational efficiencies.
- Actively collaborate with the provider and other process partners impacted by their processes.
- Ensure process standardization is maintained on all shifts through revisions and communications.
- Establish individual performance targets for providers and provide documented quarterly performance reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
