- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience performing quality assurance testing for software applications
- Ability to conduct business analysis and requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews
- Proven ability to create detailed and well-structured test cases based on requirements and user feedback
- Hands-on experience executing test cases and validating system functionality against defined quality standards
- Experience documenting, tracking, and managing defects through resolution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail to ensure comprehensive test coverage and accurate defect reporting
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment
- Familiarity with testing and project management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing regression testing in complex system environments
- Experience working on large-scale, multi-year system implementation projects
- Familiarity with government or public-sector technology projects
- Knowledge of election systems, voter registration, or election management processes (preferred but not required)
