- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Making sure that all the consignments, shipments, dispatchments, deliveries, loadings, payloads and freights are executed smoothly in order to ensure profitability.
- Collaboration and support of the customs broker on clearance processes.
- Utilize dashboards and customized reporting tools as needed.
- Collect, audit, and distribute shipping documentation as needed.
- Communicate the event and proposed course of resolution to all involved parties as soon as possible after notification.
- Collaboration with 3rd party warehouses, freight forwards, and carriers.
- Obtain or prepare all supporting data required by all internal stakeholders.
- Obtain customized reporting to document event trail as needed.
- Provide shipment tracking and create status reports as needed.
- Responsible for customer-service levels (on-time delivery) as requested and ensure all PODs are provided to all requesting parties.
- Cooperate with all other global regions and resources to help resolve issues relating to international logistics.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the changing regulations and market dynamics that impact the import and export activity.
- Build strong relationships to contribute to a collaborative team environment with multiple disciplines, including Trade Compliance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Tolling, Customer Service, and Technical teams within and importing regions.
