Job Summary
The Contracts Specialist will work with internal Business Team clients to negotiate, execute, and implement contracts for the procurement of all goods and services (e.g., hardware, software, direct and Indirect products and services, etc.), and support the governance and compliance of the contract approval process from contract creation through the contract award process. Also, collaboratively works with client partners and Sourcing team members in developing and amending all types of contracts with suppliers

Job Summary

Also, collaboratively works with client partners and Sourcing team members in developing and amending all types of contracts with suppliers
Responsibilities
- Creates, Reviews, and issues contracts
- Maintains accurate records in procurement systems
- Collaborates with business team, legal, and sourcing team members to develop, write, and negotiate new contracts and renewals (all types of contracts with suppliers)
- Providers support in interpreting contractual language
- Present to management contract-related terms and potential risks
- A bachelor’s degree in business, business law, or a related field of study
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a contract analyst in a related industry, such as finance, legal, or government
- Advanced knowledge of local, state, and national contract laws and regulations, as well as industry-specific standards and best practices
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other contract management software and tools
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy, and the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good time-management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to learn and utilize the internal ERP system contracting interface
- Ability to work on multiple issues and tasks
- Ability to prioritize, plan, perform, and communicate activities, both in written and verbal form
- Ability to interface effectively with the Business Team members up to the Director or Executive level
- Strong business and technical background
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and research skills
