Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Professional certification such as CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) or WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist)
- Demonstrated experience working with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 standards (3 Years)
- Demonstrated experience in digital accessibility testing and remediation (3 Years)
- Experience testing with assistive technologies such as JAWS, ZoomText, or NVDA (3 Years)
- HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript sufficient to support accessibility remediation efforts (3 Years)
- ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA standards (3 Years)
- Accessibility testing on websites, web applications, and digital documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (3 Years)
- Use manual and automated testing tools, including assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, ZoomText, NVDA) (3 Years)
- Code-level remediation of accessibility defects when applicable (3 Years)
- Remediate and convert digital documents into accessible formats (3 Years)
- Experience in the public sector or regulated environments (3 Years)
- Experience remediating PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro (3 Years)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (3 Years)
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, or Accessibility Insights (3 Years)
