What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Rose Hill Veterinary Practice?
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This position requires someone who loves working in a fast paced environment and enjoys working with animals.
Responsibilities: Proper handling and restraint of canines/felines for vaccines/medical procedures- Cleaning cages/kennels - Hospital cleaning/laundry - Walking/feeding/medicating hospital patients. Assist with putting appointments in rooms - Running lab work - Preparing/sanitizing surgical suite. Assist with taking X-Rays. Cleaning and preparing exam rooms before and after appointments. Restocking medical supplies.
Must be a team player, self motivated and have the ability to multitask. 1 -2 yrs experience working in a veterinary facility is required. Must be 18 yrs or older to apply for this position.
Full-Time- approximately 36-40 hrs per week - Some Saturdays hours may be required 1-2 per month as needed - Pay based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
