What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Health Technician-OCD position at ROSE HILL CENTER INC?
General Statement of Duties: Provide full range of behavioral health support services to the OCD Recovery Program for the Rose Hill community.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the Rose Hill OCD Recovery program, including directly supporting residents to achieve treatment goals.
- Available to provide supportive monitoring to residents.
- Provide personal care, protection, and supervision to the residents as clinically indicated with residents engaging in exposure work.
- Life Enrichment
- Engaging with residents in a group or individual setting in a way that introduces new experiences or validates the residents’ interests.
- Facilitate Didactic and Psychoeducation Groups,
- Facilitates, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) programming and individual support with residents as assigned.
- Monitoring adherence to and efficacy of IPOS (Individual plans of service)
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Provide transportation to the residents as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures; implement and uphold Rose Hill’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, client and staff information.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work weekends per program needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline.
- Experience working with individuals with a serious mental illness in either a hospital or community setting.
- Ability to meet the certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Ability to meet the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of the residents.
- Capable of handling emergency situations.
