In this role, you will work at the front desk assisting our patients and other visitors, providing a positive impact on their experience and the quality of the patient's care. The position requires being a team player with a very positive attitude while working within a clinical setting that balances patient service with a tight appointment schedule. Medical Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with medical records and EMRs preferred.
- Familiarity with CPT & ICD-10 codes preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, clinical office environment and capable of sustained multi-tasking.
- Being multi-lingual is a plus, particularly in Spanish.
- A positive personality is essential with the ability to treat others with respect and pay attention to patient details and their needs as you would like in turn to be treated.
- 1 years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role.
- Completion of a certificate program in the medical field is preferred, but not required.
- Available 40 hours per week.
- Pre-professional health education students are particularly welcome to apply.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Salary : $15 - $23
