The Housekeeper/Laundry Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring that all duties are carried out according to established standards to provide a safe, clean, and sanitary environment. The Housekeeper/Laundry Supervisor will plan, schedule, and assign work assignments, inspect completed work for quality assurance, provide training, and handle disciplinary action when necessary. This includes assigning tasks, inspecting rooms, providing training and guidance, and monitoring staff performance. The Housekeeper/Laundry Supervisor must ensure that facility standards are maintained, and that residents receive the highest level of customer service.
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping and laundry, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting. Supervisory experience is a plus.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, residents, and families.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
