What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper/Laundry Aide position at Rose Haven Retreat?
We are looking for a part-time laundry attendant/housekeeper.
Laundry duties include but are not limited to:
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding clothing and other items.
- Removing stains using the appropriate procedures.
- Tracking which items belong to whom.
- Ensuring direct care staff have clean linen available at all times.
- Cleaning and disinfecting laundry areas as needed, removing trash and keeping floors and walls cleaned.
Housekeeping duties include but are not limited to:
- Keeping the facility clean and safe by following housekeeping practices.
- Emptying trash
- Dusting
- Sweeping and mopping common areas
This position requires you to have dependable transportation and the ability to work without direct supervision.
