Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct repairs on refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and related mechanical components with precision and efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities in coordinating tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure.
Skills
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair and equipment maintenance.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC/R systems effectively.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for accurate diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and HVAC/R equipment repair.
- Strong understanding of construction principles related to facility maintenance or upgrades.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide or mentor team members during maintenance tasks.
