Job description
Job Title: Social Worker
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and support to individuals with developmental disabilities/autism, and seniors in assisted living facilities.
- Conduct crisis intervention and crisis management when necessary.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the specific needs of clients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate interventions and treatment plans.
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding available support services.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive behavior change and goal attainment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Social Worker, (CSW).
- Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient demeanor.
