If you are hired, you will be...
- Creating an all-around enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
- Welcoming and greeting customers when entering or leaving the store.
- Listening to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need.
- Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing deli items.
- Preparing special orders, take-out items, and party trays.
- Updating displays, cases and other customer-facing areas.
- Confirming that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards.
- Following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ensuring work areas are clean and ready to service customers.
- Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Help lead and motivate the deli department team.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
A few things you’ll need…
- Candidates must be 18 years or older
- Complete a pre-employment background check
- Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs.
- Food Worker Card
These qualifications will help you stand out
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of energy with strong customer service skills
- 3 years previous deli counter or food preparation experience (preferred)
