Position Summary The Learning and Enrichment Center Coordinator oversees the daily operations, logistics, and environment of the campus’ central student hub. Transitioning from a traditional media center/librarian framework, this role focuses less on static asset cataloging and more on creating an active, welcoming, and productive environment. The coordinator is responsible for supervising student behavior, managing facility usage, and supporting a culture of collaborative learning, academic curiosity, and enrichment activities. Reports to: Principal Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Oversee the physical space of the Learning and Enrichment Center, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment conducive to both quiet study and collaborative group work. Manage room reservations, technology checkout, and flexible learning spaces. • Actively manage student behavior and traffic flow within the center. Establish and maintain clear community standards for space, ensuring students remain safe, respectful, and on task. • Assist students in navigating academic resources, digital tools, and learning materials. Collaborate with faculty to host enrichment programs, workshops, and student clubs within the space. • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, staff, and visitors utilizing the center, cultivating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. • Oversee and manage the testing center for make-up exams. • Be familiar with user services, technical services, and administrative duties of a High School Library. • Identify future LEC needs, especially as they relate to technology • Update collections to support the curriculum. • Select all library materials, i.e., books, periodicals, and computer hardware and software. • Purge outdated books and periodicals. • Attend Academic Council meetings monthly. • Prepare original cataloging of books. • Manage parent volunteers • Select and purchase materials for the LEC • Attend Open House
