Registered Nurse (Telemetry)

Provide high-quality care to adult patients in an acute care setting requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Assess patients, interpret telemetry/cardiac rhythms, administer prescribed medications, and respond promptly to changes in condition. Manage complex telemetry patients and coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Key Duties Include

• Perform frequent patient assessments and monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Recognize rhythm changes and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and support clinical decision-making
• Educate patients and families on conditions and care plans
• Document findings and care activities in the EMR accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively with the care team to coordinate ongoing care
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure
• Strong telemetry interpretation and critical care assessment skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex patients in a fast-paced environment
• Medication administration proficiency and sound clinical judgment
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills
